A Network of Over
33,000 Global Leaders

The HSG alumni association has over 33,000 members including well-known, successful global leaders such as Monika Ribar (SBB), Dr. Paul Achleitner (Deutsche Bank), Martin Blessing (UBS) or Jon Erni (Microsoft Switzerland). Of these alumni members, more than 3,100 are Executive MBA HSG graduates. They maintain close ties with this alumni community long after completing their studies and build one of the largest and most influential business networks in Europe.

Database and Publications to Keep Alumni up to Date

Executive MBA programme graduates have access to an HSG platform which connects them with the entire alumni of the University of St.Gallen. It provides information about events and personal contact details of alumni. Alumni receive the quarterly HSG alumni magazine Alma and the EMBA HSG alumni newsletter, which contain news and information on HSG events, conferences and projects to keep them up to date with the activities of their alumni network.

Lifelong Training and Development

Lifelong learning is a leading priority at HSG, and in the alumni network. Each year, the alumni organisation organises two or three training and development events on topical issues, in collaboration with the EMBA programme administration. Graduates also have the option of taking advanced elective courses after they have completed their degree. The alumni network also provides active support for new (business) ideas – for example, in the form of societies and associations like the SilverFoxHub.

Chapters and Clubs: A Wide Range of Networking Opportunities

Alumni of the Executive MBA programmes and HSG belong to the same umbrella organisation and are also connected through regional associations and networks focusing on specific topics. There are regional EMBA HSG associations – called clubs – for Basel, Bern, Zurich as well as eastern and central Switzerland. There are also HSG alumni networks in many large European cities such as Munich, Frankfurt, Berlin, Vienna, Rome, Madrid, Paris and London. The regional clubs also have topic-specific networks called chapters like the EMBA Jobnet, which is set up to support graduates with a change of career path.

Speak to a Member of the EMBA Alumni

Members of the alumni are available to speak to prospective Executive MBA HSG applicants to offer them information and advice. This is an enriching opportunity to acquire information related to programme content, services, alumni organisations and other interests. We will be pleased to organise an appointment for you to speak to a member of the alumni.

We look forward to hearing from you!
