Wangenheim is New Academic Co-Director of emba X
On March 1st, 2024, Prof. Dr. Florian von Wangenheim takes over as Academic Director of the EMBA ETH HSG on ETH Zurich’s side. He succeeds Prof. Dr. Stefano Brusoni, who will remain involved as founder, advisor & lecturer.
March 2024 marks the beginning of a new chapter for the emba X programme, the innovative Executive MBA offered jointly by ETH Zurich and the University of St.Gallen. Prof. Dr. Stefano Brusoni, who founded the programme together with Prof. Dr. Karolin Frankenberger from the University of St.Gallen, will hand over his role as Academic Co-Director to Prof. Dr. Florian von Wangenheim.
As Brusoni fully assumes his role as Prorector for Continuing Education at ETH Zurich, it was his wish to find a suitable successor, who will continue to develop the programme according to its vision of being Europe’s most relevant Executive MBA. As founder, he will remain involved as member of the Advisory Board and lecturer.
Farewell Interview with Prof. Dr. Stefano Brusoni
Prof. Dr. Florian von Wangenheim is the Chair of Technology Marketing at the Department of Management, Technology and Economics at ETH Zurich. He has been with the university for 11 years now and he has been involved with the EMBA ETH HSG since the beginning, both as member of its Advisory Board (“Beirat”) and as lecturer of the first two cohorts.
As of March, Frankenberger and von Wangenheim will work together as Academic Directors to continue the successful development of the programme and push emba X up and forward. The entire emba X community is very grateful for Brusoni’s dedication, commitment and contributions to the programme so far and, at the same time, now very much looking forward to welcoming von Wangenheim on board the emba X directorate.
