The International EMBA is an investment in yourself and your future, so it is important to plan your finances carefully. Once you have been admitted to the programme a registration fee of 3,000.- CHF is required to confirm your place in the programme. The remaining tuition fees are split into four equal instalments over the duration of the programme. This may have tax advantages depending on your country or canton of residence (consult your local tax advisor).

In addition to tuition fees, you should also plan a budget for travel and accommodation during your modules, including for the modules held abroad.
Our Finance department is happy to split invoices between personal and company addresses if required. Note that this information should be communicated to the Finance department prior to invoicing. (An administrative fee of 100.- CHF is charged for any changes after invoicing.)
Once admitted to the programme you may defer your start only once, (to the subsequent intake) after which a new application will be required. (An administrative fee of 250.- CHF is charged for any deferral.)

It is important to plan your finances prior to enrolling in our EMBA programme. Should you realise – prior to signing your study agreement – that you are short of the full necessary funds to support your period of study, we encourage you to have a consultation with our finance department regarding the University of St.Gallen EMBA Loan Programme. We know that the personal financial situation of each of our applicants is unique. Therefore, we have designed a loan programme that considers your individual situation with our EMBA in mind.
Please note that loans are granted on an exceptional basis and only in special circumstances.
It is important to know that once the Enrolment Fee is paid, the EMBA finance department will assume that your EMBA-related finances are settled, and that you do not need any further financial aid. Therefore, please contact us about a loan early in your enrolment decision-making process.
Fixed Interest Rate: Our interest rate is fixed at 5.5% for all loan applicants, reflecting the low cost of capital in Switzerland.
No Processing Fee for Loan Applications: Submitting a loan application is free.
No Minimum Loan Required: Our loans have no minimum amount.
Repayment Period: The loan must be repaid in full no later than three years after completion of the EMBA Programme. Repayment shall commence one month after the due date of the final regular tuition fee instalment.
