In a world facing unprecedented challenges, ETH Zurich and the University of St.Gallen have joined forces to leverage Switzerland’s unique environment, knowledge, tools and networks and put them at the service of global leaders, with the aim of generating positive social impact.

emba X is a step towards a sustainable, cooperative future. As technological advances and demands for more corporate responsibility blend together, new roles will be created that 21st century leaders will have to both manage and take on themselves. The emba X programme aims to equip these future leaders with the mindset, knowledge and skills to build bridges between management and technology.
“The part of emba X which I find the most novel and exciting is the notion of enabling people to do something practical which is good for them, their company and for society, says Stefano Brusoni (Co-Director emba X).
Who is emba X for?
Graduates from the programme will join Switzerland’s most influential combined alumni network as socially responsible, well-rounded 21st century leaders. They will move into positions of high influence across diverse industries, equipped with general management and technology skills, as well as a renewed sense of societal purpose.
They will be ready and able to challenge the established ways of thinking, getting things done, and engaging others in constantly learning, unlearning and relearning.
