The University of St.Gallen is thrilled to host all shapers of the European Executive Degree industry, our esteemed EMBAC Community, for an unforgettable gathering at the very heart of Europe under the theme “21^st Century Leadership”.

As the first quarter of this century approaches its end, the leaders and decision-makers we’ve made our mission to develop are facing unprecedented dilemmas: new technologies generate enormous opportunities for growth and progress. Yet, the same technologies are challenging established organisational business models. Competition is increasing. Climate change, poverty, inequality and global wars present immediate demands to business and political leaders. These demands are increasing at the same rate technological innovations grow.  As a result, the need for relevant skills, know-how and mindset-development for decision-makers also rises. Our responsibility towards society as management universities, business schools and executive trainers, has never been so high…

…high like the alpine peaks that stand close to our cozy – and very green! – town of St. Gallen.  A place of inspiration that we are excited to share with all of you.  We are very much looking forward to an enriching dialogue, fueled by our collective expertise, spirit of collaboration and passion for our industry (…and local chocolate and cheese, of course 😉).

How to get to the University of St.Gallen

We trust our location in the heart of Europe acts as an extra encouragement to choose sustainable ways of travelling!

Arriving by public transport:

• The town of St. Gallen is very well connected by rail, with regular train connections from Geneva, Basel and Zurich Main Railway Stations (and Geneva/Zurich Airport Railway stations). Closest Airport: Zurich.
• Swiss Railways: https://www.sbb.ch/en (we recommend downloading the “SBB/CFF/FFS” application)
• The town of St. Gallen is also served by the Flixbus network
• From St. Gallen Railway Station, you may take the VBSG buses 5 and 9 to the bus stop “Rotmonten”. The journey takes 10 minutes.
• On a sunny spring day, you may also walk (app. 30 minutes) or bike (app. 14 mins) from downtown to the Executive Campus- beautiful views guaranteed.

Arriving by car:

• Address input: Holzstrasse 15, St. Gallen
• Motorway exist “St.Gallen-Kreuzbleiche”, left lane towards city centre
• Follow the signposts “Universität”
• From the University Campus, follow the signposts “WBZ Holzweid”
• Please comply with the speed limits.
• Parking: there are limited paying parking spaces in the underground garage. Day permits for the extended blue zone may be purchased by smartphone (Parkingpay Switzerland)
